From Joy: First mail

Afterwards, I luckily got government scholarship to study in master course on Social Work in Mumbai and admission procedure became kind of smooth not like Jai faced before. I came alone to Mumbai with hope and little bit anxiety because I did not know anyone there though I collected as much Mumbai contact as possible from my Indian friends in Japan.

At first for the admission registration, a staff asked me "Are you in SC/ST?" I could not understand what I was asked at first, but later on I realized that I was recognized as person from north east states of India. They have similar facial traits as Mongorian. I replied after some time that I am foreign student.

The hostel life with other Indians was very interesting and they also got interest in me because I was only one Japanese there. Though my English was not so fluent that time, friends who pursue to be social workers from all over India are very kind in nature and we enjoyed the union. Especially I became close with my neighboring room Nepalese girl since we are only two foreign nationals in our batch.

His mail came in such season and I could not recognized at first who sent me email as if the person knows me. I asked very rudely "who are you?" and all then I recognized he was the guy who I met in the other institute the other day. I just thought to make friend with him since I was not much aquintance just after arrived to India.
